Scott Jones Pro Player Hockey Development’s partnership with the Sarnia Sting aims to revolutionize youth hockey training in the Sarnia-Lambton region. The collaboration intends to provide consistent, high-quality development opportunities for young hockey players.
Before this partnership, youth hockey training in Sarnia-Lambton lacked structured development programs. Many young players did not have access to professional coaching or advanced training methods. The need for improvement in youth hockey development was evident.
Now, with Scott Jones at the helm as the Player Development Coach for the Sarnia Sting, things are changing. Jones brings over 20 years of coaching experience to this initiative. He stated, “This partnership represents a natural extension of my role with the Sarnia Sting.”
Carter Chadwick recently joined the Sarnia Sting roster after a successful stint with the Chatham Maroons. He is a promising player, standing at 6-foot-1 and weighing 200 pounds. Last season, Chadwick recorded 32 goals and 19 assists for a total of 51 points in just 47 games.
Dylan Seca, General Manager of the Sting, emphasized the importance of finding players like Chadwick. He said, “We’ve been tracking Carter closely all year. Those types of players are critical to team success. Carter has shown he can be one of those guys.”
This partnership could significantly impact youth hockey development in the area. By leveraging professional coaching expertise, it aims to foster new talent and elevate local hockey standards.
The collaboration marks a decisive moment for both organizations and highlights a commitment to enhancing youth sports in Ontario.
