“At Popeyes, we’re always looking for bold ways to show up for our fans,” said Matt Harper, a representative from Popeyes, announcing the exciting collaboration with the popular anime franchise One Piece.
Beginning April 13, 2026, Popeyes will introduce a special One Piece menu across Canada, featuring items such as Luffy’s Bento Bundle and Chopper’s Cupcake. This partnership aims to engage fans of the long-running series, which has gained significant popularity in the Western world over the years.
The Luffy’s Bento Bundle includes two pieces of Popeyes Signature Chicken, fried pickles, and a drink, priced at $13.99. Additionally, the Chopper’s Cupcake, a strawberry cake adorned with pink icing and sprinkles, will be available for $3.99. Another unique offering is the Gum-Gum Fruit Lemonade, inspired by the fictional fruit from the series, priced at $3.49.
To enhance the experience, a Popeyes restaurant in Toronto will be transformed into a One Piece-themed venue, allowing fans to immerse themselves in the world of the anime until April 27, 2026.
As part of the promotion, customers who purchase the Luffy Bento Bundle will have the chance to receive free collectible bento boxes, while exclusive Popeyes x One Piece merchandise will be released on April 15, 2026.
One Piece, created by Eiichiro Oda in 1997, has sold over 600 million copies, making it the best-selling comic book of all time. This collaboration marks a significant moment for both brands, combining the worlds of fast food and anime in a unique way.
Fans are eagerly anticipating the launch, with many expressing excitement about the themed menu items. “Starting on Monday, April 13, fans of one of the most beloved anime will be able to chow down like the future King of the Pirates,” a spokesperson noted, highlighting the enthusiasm surrounding the event.
As the launch date approaches, details remain unconfirmed regarding the extent of the merchandise and additional promotional events planned in conjunction with this collaboration.
