Kylie Jenner attended the 2026 Met Gala on May 4 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Her outfit featured a surreal design, including a corset and a voluminous skirt. The theme for this year’s gala was ‘Costume Art’ with the dress code ‘Fashion Is Art.’
Jenner wore a custom Schiaparelli outfit. This marked her ninth appearance at the Met Gala. The dress included a nude corset with faux nipples and a skirt adorned with 10,000 baroque pearls.
The intricate skirt required approximately 11,000 hours of embroidery work. Jenner debuted bleached eyebrows at this event, adding to her striking look. Her outfit was styled by Alexandra Rosa and Mackenzie Grandquist.
The Met Gala was co-chaired by Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and Anna Wintour. The event raised funds for the Met’s Costume Institute. The exhibition will open to the public from May 10, 2026, through January 10, 2027.
Kylie Jenner launched her clothing brand Khy in 2023. She remarked about her look: “I don’t have any brows with me luck.” Iggy Rosales added, “The dress feels like it’s slipping away,” highlighting the unique nature of her outfit.
