Evil Dead Burn is set to release on July 10, 2026. This sixth installment of the Evil Dead franchise introduces a family conspiracy element that diverges from traditional horror themes.
The film stars Souheila Yacoub alongside Hunter Doohan, Luciane Buchanan, Tandi Wright, and George Pullar. Sébastien Vaniček directed and wrote the script for this new chapter.
The plot centers on a woman who seeks solace with her in-laws after losing her husband. However, she faces a family reunion from hell as they transform into Deadites. The film’s tagline states, “Family is the root of all evil.” This suggests deeper themes of betrayal and sinister connections.
The official synopsis hints at a conspiracy involving the conjuring of Deadites through the Necronomicon. This adds layers of Satanism to the narrative, which is expected to resonate with fans of the horror genre.
Graphic horror elements dominate the film, featuring scenes of extreme violence. Observers have noted that Evil Dead Burn unleashes the franchise’s most savage and terrifying ride to date.
The Evil Dead franchise began with Sam Raimi’s original film in 1981. It has since expanded into various media, including three seasons of Ash vs. Evil Dead and an upcoming seventh film titled Evil Dead Wrath, scheduled for release in 2028.
Evil Dead Burn was first revealed at CinemaCon in Las Vegas. Producers Rob Tapert and Sam Raimi are joined by executive producers Bruce Campbell and Lee Cronin.
