Monic Néron, who will take over the weekday afternoon show from 3 PM to 6 PM starting August 17, 2026, expressed her excitement about the new opportunity as well. She stated, “C’est le rêve d’une vie,” highlighting her aspirations for the new role.
Néron previously hosted the Mimosa show on Saturday mornings and aims to create a friendly and entertaining atmosphere for her audience in her new afternoon slot. With an average of 54,000 listeners per minute, she is well-positioned to engage a broad audience.
The programming changes reflect ICI Première’s efforts to adapt to the evolving landscape of radio broadcasting while honoring the legacy of its late host, Franco Nuovo. Desrochers and Néron’s new roles are expected to bring fresh energy to the station.
