Josh Doan opened the scoring against Golden Knights goaltender Adin Hill, while Josh Norris sealed the game with an empty-net goal with just 57.6 seconds remaining. The Sabres have now completed a regular-season sweep against the Golden Knights, having previously won in Buffalo on March 3.
For the Golden Knights, this match marked their third shutout of the season and their first at home. Adin Hill managed to make 23 saves during the game but was unable to prevent the Sabres from finding the net.
Since December 9, the Sabres have been the winningest team in the NHL, boasting a remarkable record of 31-6-2, which has earned them 64 points in that timeframe.
Despite the victory, the Sabres played without forward Alex Tuch, who was sidelined due to illness. Tyson Kozak made his return to the lineup for the first time since March 3, adding depth to the team’s roster.
Looking ahead, the Sabres will visit San Jose on Thursday, aiming to continue their successful run. Meanwhile, the Golden Knights will host Utah on the same day, seeking to bounce back from this defeat.
