A boy was fatally struck by a westbound GO train in Mississauga, Ontario, on March 18, 2026, around 2:45 PM. The child, believed to be 12 or 13 years old, was reportedly riding a motorized bicycle with another child near a crossing close to Alexandra Avenue and Fourth Street when the incident occurred.
At the time of the accident, all safety measures, including traffic signals, train arms, flashing lights, and an audible tone, were functioning properly. Despite these precautions, the boy went around the barrier and was struck by the train.
