Departure Announcement
On March 10, 2026, Belift Lab officially announced that Heeseung would be leaving Enhypen to pursue a solo career. This decision comes after extensive deliberation regarding the future of the group, which has been a significant part of Heeseung’s life since its formation in 2020.
Continuing as Six
Following Heeseung’s departure, Enhypen will continue as a six-member group, consisting of Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon, and Ni-ki. The remaining members expressed their support for Heeseung’s decision, emphasizing their respect for his choice and his new beginnings.
Heeseung’s Future Plans
Heeseung will remain with Belift Lab and is currently working on a solo album. In a heartfelt message shared on Weverse, he expressed his desire to create and share his personal art, stating, “I will carry the love ENGENEs have given me in my heart as I move forward.”

In his letter to fans, Heeseung reflected on the overwhelming and precious moments he experienced during his time with the group, saying, “For me, six years was a time filled with moments that were overwhelming and precious beyond words.” He also mentioned his intention to support Enhypen as a fan after his departure.

This marks the first lineup change for Enhypen since its debut, a significant moment for both the group and its fans, known as ENGENE. The group’s latest project, a mini album titled “The Sin : Vanish,” was released in January 2026, showcasing their continued evolution as artists.
