Caleb Desnoyers, who served as captain of the Moncton Wildcats this season, has signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Utah Mammoth. This development comes on the heels of a standout junior career, where Desnoyers was selected 4th overall by the Mammoth in the 2025 NHL Draft.
During the current season, Desnoyers has recorded an impressive 22 goals and 56 assists in just 45 games, showcasing his offensive prowess with a remarkable +36 rating in the QMJHL. His performance has not gone unnoticed; he was named the QMJHL Player of the Week on December 8 and was awarded the 2025 Guy Lafleur Trophy as the league’s playoff MVP.
Desnoyers has tallied a total of 77 goals and 141 assists in 161 career games in the QMJHL, demonstrating consistent scoring ability. He has also made significant contributions in the playoffs, registering 10 goals and 22 assists in 23 appearances, helping the Wildcats secure their third QMJHL championship.
